As educators seek to improve student outcomes and support increasingly diverse learners in their educational settings, they need to find ways to increase engagement and motivation to learn. When learners are engaged they are more likely to persist even with challenging tasks, and when they persist they are more likely to meet learning outcomes.

Learning Outcomes:

Participants will describe  the function of and be able to implement inclusive strategies using five free or low cost tools and resources that provide options to increase learner engagement, decrease dependence on adults and empower learners to personalize their learning.

Participants will describe  the function of and be able to implement inclusive strategies using five free or low cost resources to help educators provide more options for how to represent content in a way that honors learner variability and provide learners with options for demonstrating what they have learned.

Participants will create a plan to use at least one digital resource that highlights the inclusive technology tools and share with other participants.
