This webinar will discuss and demonstrate methods, materials, tools and resources for teaching assistive technology online via webinars, online courses, hybrid courses and virtual presence tools.  Learn how to creatively use various platforms to teach assistive technology related content.  In addition learn how to prepare and deliver content on line that  uses multimedia, is  interactive, hands-on and engaging..  No longer do participants have to watch a static boring  PowerPoints with text based slides and still images or sit for hours watching a talking head. Online learning has changed and can be fun, engaging, entertaining, low cost and even hands-on.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Participants will be able to identify at least 5 different platforms for delivering assistive technology content on-line and the pros and cons of each.
  2. Participants will be able to Identify at least five different methods for producing content that using videos.
  3. Participants will be able to Identify at least five ways to use UDL principles in developing  and delivery content online.
  4. Participants will be able to Identify at least five free resources for producing and delivering assistive technology training online.

CEUs

This activity is offered for up to 0.2 CEUs (1.5 hours of instruction). To register for CEUs:
