Supporting Emergent and Basic Math on the iPad

Description:
In order for students to learn the basic math skills, they need to develop the pre-requisite or emergent math skills. Once they have these pre-requisite skills, they can begin working on basic math skills. The basic math skills are critical for skills they will need to be successful on daily life such as telling time, cooking, maintaining schedules, shopping and following a map. These are skill every student should develop to be as independent as possible.

Learning Outcomes:
Participants will be able to identify at least 3 basic math areas
Participants will be able to identify 3 apps for access to math
Participants will be able to identify 3 emergent math skill areas
