Description:

This 60 minute course is intended to be a demonstration and discussion of  the Grid vocabulary, Super Core. This session involves a demonstration and discussion of the features of Super Core, suggestions for supporting communication in daily activities with Super Core. In addition, motor planning, semantic relationships, and other organizational strategies will be discussed as they relate to Super Core. Attendees will learn to support concept development, learning, and academic vocabulary, literacy supports, symojis and apps available in Super Core.

Learning Outcomes:

Participants will demonstrate an understanding of the AAC evaluation process.

Participants will identify at least 3 components for feature matching.

Participants will gain knowledge regarding various methods for supporting language development.
