Students with Autism and Low Vision / Blindness are not receiving a well-rounded literacy education due to lack of specific teacher training on interventions. This webinar will help attendees identify what accommodations would help their students, as well as what method of instruction will allow the learner the best access to literacy across their day.

Learning Outcomes:
As a result of the presentation, participants will be able to discern the difference between vision impairment and blindness.
As a result of the presentation participants will be able to define and understand the characteristics of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
As a result of the presentation participants will be able to identify co-occurring characteristics of individuals with ASD/Vision Impairment/ and Blindness.
As a result of the presentation participants will be able to utilize strategies for students who may have Autism and Vision Impairment/Blindness.
