Teachers, SLPs, OTs, PTs, Administrators, Special Educators, AT Specialists, Administrators, Individuals with disabilities, Parents of children with disabilities.

We tend to take a thoughtful look into considering AAC for our students, but often are not trained on what to do once a student receives a device. This presentation will provide the audience with the important steps and many tips to supporting their students that use core based AAC systems.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Participants will learn the importance of modeling on students AAC Systems.
  2. As a result of attendance, participants will increase their understanding for using Core based AAC systems.
  3. Participants will learn a variety of strategies for how and what to model on students board and devices.
