Creating Low-Cost AT Solutions for Blind, Low Vision, Deaf/HOH and Deaf-Blindness

Training related to evidence on state-of-the-art assistive technology on new devices and across the lifespan. We continue to experience challenges with limited time and money and this workshop addresses both challenges.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Participants will be able to identify at least 5 tools to use when creating solutions for blind and low vision and deaf/HOH. 
  2. Participants will be able to list at least five materials that can be used to create solutions for blind and Deaf/HOH individuals.
  3. Participants will be able to list examples of AT devices that can be created in minutes to support students with vision and hearing impairments.

CEUs

This activity is offered for up to 0.2 CEUs (1.5 hours of instruction). To register for CEUs:
