The focus of this webinar series is to provide learners with quality learning opportunities across the field of assistive technology.  The webinar series will focus on multiple topics including AAC, literacy, virtual service delivery in the context of social distancing, accessible workspace for individuals with disabilities, and creating engaging virtual assistive technology/AAC evaluation and treatment activities.  Each session will provide participants with a variety of tools, techniques, and intervention strategies.  The sessions will be conducted in a virtual format, and will include a combination of spoken lecture, visual slide materials, and opportunities for discussion/question and answer between the presenters and attendees.  Opportunities for interaction will include both spoken formats and text-based interaction through the chat feature of our virtual meeting platform.

Learning Outcomes:

Participants will be able to understand the application of both low and high tech assistive technology devices for people of differing abilities, across the lifespan.Participants will be able to identify individuals who may benefit from the use of different assistive technology solutions.Participants will be able to share knowledge of assistive technology application with peers.
