Cortical Visual Impairment Applications to Learning and Social Development

Description:

The Ellis School of Atlanta is a non-profit special needs school for children with complex communication needs and multiple disabilities. This community outreach training, hosted by the Ellis School of Atlanta, will feature guest speaker Dr. Christine Roman Lantzy.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. The participant will be able to understand the span of the CVI characteristics across phases 1,2, & 3.
  2. The participant will be able to apply the principles of CVI range scores to interventions and adaptations.
  3. The participantwill be able to increase social engagement and inclusion for individuals with CVI.

CEUs

This activity is offered for up to 0.4 CEUs (3.5 hours of instruction). To register for CEUs:
