We need to examine the distinctions between monolingual and bilingual language development, debunk common myths surrounding bilingual AAC use, and clarify the difference between language translation and true language systems. Using bilingual Minspeak® options such as LAMP Words for Life (WFL) and Unidad, we’ll demonstrate how these tools support consistent access to vocabulary across languages.
