Professionals working with people with disabilities need to know what type of assistive technology is available to assist people in improving their ability to work, live independently, or improve their quality of life.

Learning Outcomes:
Identify one facility in central Indiana (or near where they live) that provides AAC evaluations and therapy.
Identify at least 2 options for obtaining AAC trial equipment.
Identify at least 2 funding options for AAC devices.
Identify at least 2 operating systems that AAC devices are built on.
Identify at least 2 access methods for AAC devices.
Identify at least 2 vocabulary options for communication.
