Assistive Technology and Autism

Description:

Full day training taught by Autism and AT specialists about assistive technology available to individuals with autism. Professionals working with people with disabilities need to know what type of assistive technology is available to assist people in improving their ability to work, live independently, or improve their quality of life.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Participants will be able to identify 5 different assistive technology devices individuals with autism.
  2. Participants will be able to identify 5 different apps for individuals with autism.
  3. Participants will be able to identify 5 different ASD symptoms.
  4. Participants will be able to identify 5 symptoms of sensory dysfunction.

CEUs

This activity is offered for up to 0.5 CEUs (5.0 hours of instruction). To register for CEUs:
