Description:

This 60 minute course is intended to be a demonstration and discussion of a variety of AAC communication software and vocabulary files and the reasoning/research behind them and their different functions for various AAC users. The session involves a demonstration and discussion of the software available on the Wego device and the Zuvo device.  This session will continue on to group discussion of a variety of vocabulary files and the type of client to which they are best suited.

Learning Outcomes:

Participants will identify 3 page sets or communication software options available on the Wego and the Zuvo devices

Participants will identify at least 3 Quickstep grid sizes available on the Wego and Zuvo devices

Participants will demonstrate knowledge on basic programming, customizing and vocabulary files of at least 3 software options.

Participant will identify at least 2 reasons Quickstep may be a more appropriate choice for a client/student with AAC needs
