Description:

This 60 minute course is intended to be a demonstration and discussion of  the Grid vocabulary, and how it can benefit Gestalt Language Processors. This session involves a demonstration and discussion of the features of Grid, suggestions for supporting communication in daily activities with a variety of vocabularies (VocoChat, SuperCore, Quick Step).

Learning Outcomes:

Participants will be able to describe two ways to personalize an AAC system to support gestalt language processors who use AAC.

Participants will identify at least 2 vocabularies that can be used for treatment and language/communication support.

Participants will be able to identify two places in Super Core where gestalts could be programmed.
