Top Ten Transition Tech Tools: Common Assistive Technology Tools Used in Postsecondary Education

Teachers, students, and even parents supporting students as they transition from high school to postsecondary education are needing information on the supports available for their student as they enter college. This includes the assistive technology available to students. Having a better idea of what accommodations and assistive technology that is available for students will help to facilitate and a smoother, and hopefully, a more successful transition to postsecondary education for the student.

Learning Outcomes:
As a result of this webinar, participants will be aware of the most common assistive technology tools used to support students with disabilities in postsecondary education.
Participants will learn about tools to bring back to their schools so they can better prepare students for the types of tools they will see in postsecondary education.
Participants will view similar tools used in postsecondary education that may be used currently with students in K-12 that they work with to better understand the commonalities of AT between K-12 and postsecondary education.
