Tools, Devices, & Apps for Everyday Living

Description:

Full day training taught by ESC AT specialists  will educate participants about tools and apps available for individuals who have physical, visual, mobility, hearing, or cognitive disabilities.

Lisa Becker, Assistive Technology Specialist at ESC

Belva Smith, Assistive Technology Specialist at ESC

Learning Outcomes:

Participants will learn what apps are and how to download them to a mobile device.  

Participants will be able to identify at least 5 apps for a individuals with visual impairment

Participants will be able to identify at least 5 apps for learning

Participants will be able to identify at least 5 apps for activities of daily living

Participants will be able to use a database to search for apps based on disability category

To better understand what the ADA covers in the world work
