Description:

This 120-minute course is intended to be a discussion of the different types of AAC devices, access methods, as well as a demonstration of the different dedicated SGD’s provided by Talk to Me Technologies.  The session involves a demonstration and discussion of the software and hardware features of several devices including the Wego 5A-D SGD, Talk Pad 8: Wego Edition, Talk Pad 10: Wego Edition, and Wego 13A-D SGD; and the Zuvo 10-D, Zuvo 12-D and Zuvo 16-D speech generating devices (SGD).

Learning Outcomes:

Participants will demonstrate an understanding on use of at least 3 devices by hardware.

Participants will identify 3 different types of AAC devices

Participants will demonstrate knowledge of different access methods available for AAC devices.
