Visual supports are a foundational element in autism education and intervention, often used to build structure, support communication, and promote independence. But in many classrooms and therapy settings, visual strategies can become repetitive, overly rigid, or disconnected from the unique needs and preferences of individual learners. This session offers a fresh perspective on visual supports – one that encourages creativity, flexibility, and thoughtful adaptation.
