Learning Outcomes:

  1. Explain the evidence-based reasons for using consistent teaching formats and predictable instructional tools for students with varying abilities.
  2. Describe two research-based instructional formats, paired with instructional technology tools, tied to a sample learning objective for teaching the meaning of curriculum vocabulary and identifying the main idea of a reading passage.
  3. Describe two research-based instructional formats, paired with instructional technology tools, tied to a sample learning objective, in a writing task to convey accurate knowledge of curriculum.

CEUs

This activity is offered for up to 0.2 CEUs (1.5 hour of instruction). To register for CEUs:
