Harnessing the Power of Your Technology While Offline!

In many parts of the country internet access for both schools and students at home can be an issue. The internet can be intermittent, students may not have access at home. This session will address how to utilize a variety of resources providing students with offline use to applications on Chromebooks, iPads and classroom resources posted during class sessions, hardware solutions for internet access in remote areas, and ideas for educators for downloading content that can then be used offline.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Participants will be able to identify three apps / extensions for Chromebooks that can be used offline.
  2. Participants will be able to identify three apps for iPads that can be used offline.
  3. Participants will learn how to set up the environment to go between online and offline use.
