Hands-On Monarch Workshop

Description:
You are invited to join APH, Tools for Life, and the Georgia Department of Education for a hands-on workshop featuring the Monarch. The Monarch is a multi-line braille tablet that supports instruction, access to information, and content creation. During this session, participants will work directly with tactile graphics, literary materials, math content, and instructional resources to better understand how the Monarch can support learning and productivity in both the classroom and the workplace.

Learning Outcomes:
Understand the basic functions and purpose of the Monarch and its built-in applications
Explore at least three effective classroom uses of the Monarch to support student learning
Confidently use five core Monarch features, including navigation, language profiles, settings, and contextual help
Recognize at least three helpful app pairings to the Monarch (e.g., KeyWord + File Management) that improve workflow for teachers and students
