Artificial intelligence (AI) has taken the world by storm and is transforming how people with disabilities access and communicate information, learn, and work. From supporting reading, writing, and organization to increasing productivity and independence, AI is emerging as a powerful assistive technology and workplace tool. Join this webinar for a high-level overview of how individuals with disabilities are using AI in K-12 education and employment settings. The session will explore readily available AI tools and features, including considerations for AI use with K-12 students and workers. Concepts related to accessibility, privacy, bias, accommodations, and responsible use will be highlighted. Participants will leave with a better understanding of both the opportunities and challenges of AI, along with a few resources to support AI decisions in school and workplace settings.
