AT & Innovations to Combat Isolation

Description:

Full day training taught by ESC AT will educate participants about assistive technology available to address social isolation.

Learning Outcomes:

Participants will be able to identify 3 adverse effects of social isolation in older adults and persons with disabilities.

Participants will be able to identify 3 barriers to tech adoption by older adults and persons with disabilities.

Participants will be able to identify 5 ways technologies can help combat social isolation in older adults and persons with disabilities.

Participants will learn about 3 useful programs/resources for addressing social isolation in older adults and persons with disabilities.
