Assistive Technology 101

Description:

Professionals providing assistive technology services, vocational rehabilitation counselors, consumers/family members using assistive technology, PT’s, OT’s, SLP’s, RESNA members and anyone else interested in learning the basics of assistive technology. Individuals with disabilities and family member are always welcome to attend activities.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Participants will be able to identify 5 different assistive technology devices for visual impairments.
  2. Participants will be able to identify 5 different assistive technology devices for Learning and Intellectual Disabilities.
  3. Participants will be able to identify 5 difference accessibility features in iOS devices.

CEUs

This activity is offered for up to 0.5 CEUs (5.0 hours of instruction). To register for CEUs:
  1. Download, and complete the following forms.

  4. CEU certificate will be sent after submitting the two forms
