This 60 minute course is intended to be a demonstration and discussion of a variety of AAC devices, vocabulary files, and implementation training. The session involves a demonstration and discussion of the software and hardware features of several devices including the Nova Chat 5, 7 & 10, Wego 7A & 10A, and Zuvo 12 and 18 speech generating devices (SGD). This session will continue on to cover a variety of vocabulary files specific to case studies introduced.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Participants will demonstrate an understanding on use of at least 3 devices by hardware.
2. Participants will identify different types of vocabulary files.
3. Participants will demonstrate knowledge of basic programming, customizing and vocabulary files on at least 3 devices.
4. Participants will understand how to implement communication goals across multiple environments and with multiple communication partners.
