AAC Performance Report: Definition, Generation, and Use

Description

This course identifies and defines the 17 quantitative summary measures of communication performance contained in the AAC Performance Report, how to generate the report, and how to use it in guiding clinical practice.

Learning Outcomes:

As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. identify and articulate the principles and
    elements of evidence-based practice and their foundation in ASHA documents.
  2.  describe and discuss the elements and use of the
    AAC Performance Report.
  3.  use the Performance Report Tool (PeRT) software to
    generate the AAC Performance Report from language
    sample data.
