Description:

This 60 minute course is intended to be a demonstration and discussion of a variety of AAC devices and access methods. The session involves a demonstration and discussion of the software and hardware features of several devices including the Wego 5A-D, 13A-D; the Talk Pad Wego 8 and Talk Pad Wego 10; and the Grid Pad Go 10, Zuvo 12-D, Grid Pad 13, and Grid Pad 16 speech generating devices (SGD).  This session will continue on to cover a variety of vocabulary files and their features.

Learning Outcomes:

Participants will demonstrate an understanding on use of at least 3 devices by hardware.

Participants will identify 3 unique features of each device.

Participants will demonstrate knowledge on basic programming, customizing and vocabulary files of at least 3 devices.
